Sergio launched and successfully exited two prior startups: Autologic (a pre-Google search engine for car buying) and iPorta (an interactive healthcare media platform). FitSkin is quickly becoming the standard for dermatologist-grade skin analysis in the Beauty industry, with most of the world’s largest brands using Powered by FitSkin™ technology. FitSkin was a finalist at the LVMH Innovation Awards in 2017 and the Harvard Business School business plan competition in 2018. Sergio is a lean manufacturing expert, having collaborated with MIT’s James Womack and worked for Toyota in Japan. He has consulted for GM, Starbucks, and Massachusetts General Hospital, among others. Sergio holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Honors BASc. in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Japanese from the University of Toronto.
